Tallinn aims to transform the Kopliranna green area into an extension of the Stroomi beach promenade, creating a natural and harmonious space for coastal walks, recreation, and exercise.

On August 29, Tallinn will celebrate Baltic Sea Day with a series of activities near Linnahall, including clean-up efforts, workshops, and a discussion on the state of the Baltic Sea. The day will culminate in the opening concert of the Linnaruumifestival (Urban Space Festival) and a special performance titled "How to Look at the Sea." Additionally, Põhja-Tallinn District and World Cleanup Estonia are organizing a major cleanup event and environmental hike at Pikakari Beach and the Paljassaare Peninsula.

On Monday, January 15, GScan OÜ, one of the four winners of Tallinnovation 2023, will begin measuring the cross-section of the exterior facade of the Tallinn City Government's main building (located at Vabaduse väljak 7) using muon scanners. The measurements will last approximately three weeks.

The construction of the Old City Harbour tramway along Põhja puiestee near Linnahall is set to disrupt tram services to Kopli from May 3 until mid-August. During the first weekend of May, tram lines No. 1, 2, and 5 will be out of service. From May 6, a temporary tram line No. 1 will operate between Kopli and Linnahall stops.

From the evening of Friday, May 3, at 20.00 until the end of Sunday, May 5, tram service between Kopli and the city centre will be temporarily suspended. During this period, tram lines 1, 2, and 5 will be replaced by shuttle bus line 52 on the segment between Kopli and Mere puiestee. This suspension is due to construction work at the temporary Linnahall stop and the tram turnaround loop at the Skoone Bastion stadium.
