The Cognizant Centre for the Future of Work highlighted Tallinn as one of the 17 cities in the world where jobs of the future are created.

Tallinn is focused on environmental sustainability, one of six Factors in the ICF Method defining success for cities and regions in the 21st Century.

The Mayor of Tallinn, Mihhail Kõlvart, signed Tallinn's accession to the European Green City Accord, which sets objectives for the city's air, water, noise, biodiversity and circular economy.
