On 24 April, the restoration works of public transport stops will begin in Tallinn, during which the asphalt concrete and concrete coverings of bus stops will be renovated, broken curb stones will be replaced and well covers will be fixed up. During the restoration works, 15 bus stops will be repaired.
From Monday, 1 May, Bolt will set the maximum speed of electric scooters in the centre of Tallinn as 20 km/h on most streets as opposed to the previous 25 km/h. This is a pilot project born in cooperation with the Tallinn City Government and the police. The purpose is to calm traffic and monitor the change in traffic behaviour.
Due to the full-scale reconstruction works of Jõe and Pronksi streets, the intersection of Pronksi and Gonsiori streets will be closed to traffic from Tuesday, 2 May until 30 June. The closure is connected to the construction of the underground communication lines in the area of the intersection.
On 22 May, Rahumäe waste transfer station will be closed for one month due to necessary construction works; customers will be directed to other waste transfer stations during this time.
Filtri Road is closed to regular traffic in the section between the Bus Station and Veskiposti Street from 06:00-23:00 on Tuesday, 9 May. Public transport and local residents are permitted to pass through. The Police and Border Guard Board will monitor compliance with restrictions.
Due to Vanasadama tramway construction, the northern section of Ahtri Street between Paadi and Laeva streets will be closed to traffic from 10:00 on Tuesday, 9 May. The traffic changes will affect the routes of bus lines 20, 20A, 34 and 66.
Due to the LHV Women’s Run in Pirita, on Saturday 20 May from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, the locations of bus stops of lines 1, 5, 8, 34 and 38 on Pirita tee in the direction leading out of the city will be changed. The Kose tee section between Pirita tee and Rummu tee will be closed, and the routes of bus lines 5 and 6 will be changed in both directions.
Tallinn is developing a solution for the reconstruction of Ristiku Street, Härjapea Street and Ristiku Põik, which will result in the creation of a safer and more comfortable urban space for all road users. The public presentation of the sketch will take place at 18:30 on 30 May at Ristiku Basic School (Ristiku 69).
