In Tallinn, the circular economy company FudLoop has expanded its network of smart food sharing pantries, which is unique in the world, with the aim of reducing food waste.

Tallinn is implementing additional measures to prevent illegal parking on pavements. The fine will be raised by €40, in several places driving onto pavements will be prevented with posts and landscaping and the municipal police bicycle patrol will also start as a pilot project, targeting primarily parking on bicycle lanes and pavements.

Tallinn will host the ninth annual Days of National Cultures, a vibrant celebration highlighting the rich cultures of the city's local ethnic minorities, from September 16th to 24th.

For the eighth time, Tallinn will host Days National Cultures from 16 to 25 September, highlighting the national minorities and their cultures living in Tallinn. The event offers free concerts, film screenings, picnics, language and culture cafés, children's events and much more.

This week, the ACES of Europe Validation Committee got to know the opportunities for sports and the organisation of sports in Tallinn – the prerequisites for the title of European Capital of Sport 2025 are created by local and national sport events taking place here in addition to the infrastructure supporting sports. The winner will be declared this November.
