Construction works on Odra Street are nearing completion, and the street will be reopened to traffic starting Monday, 19 May. Bus routes 54 and 67 will also return to their normal routes.

Tallinn has been selected as the host city for the 2025 International Children's Games that takes place under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee. Last week, Igor Topole, President of the International Children’s Games, and Secretary General Hugh Waters, visited Tallinn to inspect its sports infrastructure and met with city leaders to discuss the details of organizing the event.

The renovated Miiamilla Children's Museum was opened on January 11 by the Estonian President Alar Karis, Sirje Karis, Mayor of Tallinn Mihhail Kõlvart, and children who contributed to the museum’s completion. Tallinn plans to establish a bicycle path between Poska Street and Reidi tee to enhance mobility for pedestrians and cyclists and to develop the city's network of bike paths. The public introduction of the preliminary design for the Poska-Reidi bike path is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, at 17:30 at the Mati Undi Museum, located at Koidula 17.

The City of Tallinn is planning to build a pedestrian tunnel at the intersection of Paldiski maantee and Tehnika Street to improve convenience and safety for pedestrians. The public introduction of the project will take place on Wednesday, May 22, at 17:30 via Microsoft Teams.

The Tallinn City Government has presented the City Council with the first supplementary budget proposal for 2024, increasing the total city budget by 9.5 million euros. One of the priorities of the supplementary budget is the urban landscape and mobility sectors, with additional funds allocated primarily to improve the quality of winter street maintenance and to develop landscaping.
