The speed limits will be lowered on Tallinn's streets to ensure safer traffic. The maximum speed allowed will be 30 km/h on a number of inner district roads and 40 km/h on some of the larger streets in the city centre.
Tomorrow, 13 October, construction work will begin in the Seli forest, which was cleaned up this spring, during which the Seli forest will be transformed into a safe family park.
To ensure environmentally friendly disposal of old Christmas trees, Tallinn has opened 83 collection points where residents can drop off their trees free of charge. Trees can also be taken to waste stations or have them picked up by the local waste management service.
