Pronksi Street reconstruction works continue in Tallinn City Centre; however, starting today, the Pronksi–Raua and Pronksi–Gonsiori intersections are open to traffic.

The Härjapea River Bridge, believed to have been constructed in the 18th century, was uncovered during reconstruction works on the Jõe and Pronksi streets. Preserving the bridge would not cause significant changes in the construction work schedule.

In the upcoming weekend and the following weekend, namely 13-14 May and 20-21 May, Tallinn residents can dispose of both hazardous waste and reusable items during the collection round near their homes.

The Tallinn Property Department has finalized a contract with Bergland OÜ to introduce independent backup power systems across five key facilities in Tallinn. This initiative will outfit these locations with stationary diesel generators, securing a continuous electricity supply for the city's emergency response centers.

The construction of Utilitas’ wastewater and seawater heat pump plant and seawater pumping station to be built in Paljassaare began today. The emission-free plant will start supplying heat to Tallinn’s district heating network in the winter season of 2026.

On the weekends of 10–11 May and 17–18 May, the City of Tallinn will once again organise collection rounds for hazardous household waste and reusable items. These rounds allow residents to conveniently, safely, and sustainably dispose of hazardous materials and give new life to items they no longer need.

Due to a water main break on Laikmaa Street, the routes of bus lines no. 14, 18, 18A, 20, 20A, and 31 will be temporarily changed in the city centre from 9:00 on 15 May until 5:30 on 16 May.
