Tallinn will allocate additional funding to improve access to services for preventing and alleviating mental health problems in the city’s budget next year.

The development project of the year, collaborative project of the year, start-up of the year, tourism deed of the year, job creator of the year, future solution and eco-innovation awards were announced at the Tallinn Business Awards gala held at the Song Festival Grounds on 30 September. Awards were also presented for the best applied research projects.

Yesterday, on August 18, the new visitor centre was presented at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds (Lauluväljak) that tells a story of the Signing Revolution, the tradition of Song Festivals, and the history of the Song Festival Grounds. In autumn 2022, a support measure for conference tourism was created to attract more conference tourists to Tallinn. The maximum amount of support is planned to be up to €30 000 per conference. Tallinn will start supporting international conferences in the city next year. The first call for applications has already been launched and is open until 25 January.
