On Sunday 22 May, from 12 noon to 3 pm, a free family event will take place on Vabaduse väljak (Freedom Square) to mark 100 years since the start of regular bus services in Tallinn.

Tallinn parents to receive school admission notices for their first-graders
The Tallinn Education Department has started informing parents about the designation of the school of residence for their children who will start school on 1 September 2022. The deadline for accepting the assigned school is 10 June.
Tallinn's home doctor brigades to carry out visits until the end of May
A home doctor pilot project continues in Tallinn to ensure that children with health emergencies receive medical care at the weekend. Almost 270 home visits have been made this year. Home visits will be temporarily suspended for the summer months before resuming in September.
Tallinn’s first day sick leave benefit applies until the end of May
Last March, Tallinn introduced the first day sick leave benefit as a measure of limiting the spread of coronavirus and encouraging people with illness symptoms to stay home from work at once. This benefit will be applicable for sick leaves initiated until 31 May 2022.

From May, Tallinn's free Museum Sundays will be joined by The Estonian Museum of Contemporary Art in Põhja-Tallinn and the Gallery of Kaja Cultural Centre in Mustamäe.

More than 1,540 students from Ukraine have been offered places in Tallinn's municipal schools. Kindergarten places have been offered to nearly 350 applicants, with 110 Ukrainian children already attending kindergarten.

The COVID-19 counselling and vaccination point on Vabaduse Square remains open until 30 March. Anyone wishing to get vaccinated there can do so today and tomorrow until 9pm.
