The Tallinn City Government wants to amend the Tallinn Statute to clarify and update the regulation of the city's badges of honour.

On 24 April, the restoration works of public transport stops will begin in Tallinn, during which the asphalt concrete and concrete coverings of bus stops will be renovated, broken curb stones will be replaced and well covers will be fixed up. During the restoration works, 15 bus stops will be repaired.

As a result of the negotiations between the City of Tallinn and OÜ BCA Center, the terms of the management contracts of five schools will become more favourable for the city and the city will save nearly 17.6 million euros during the contract period.

The city of Tallinn in cooperation with SA Tallinna Hambakliinik, starting 1 August, is offering the opportunity to receive dental health care services costing up to 500 euros for financially disadvantaged seniors. Coverage for dental care expenses can be applied for by Tallinn residents of retirement age who have received need-based support three or more times over the previous year.

Tallinn provides a subsidy for 10–15-year-old children to help them purchase a bicycle under the “Bike to School” programme. The subsidy is granted as a one-time payment and can be up to 100 euros. It is meant for children who have received their cyclist's permits in the year of their application or in the preceding year. Additionally, children can apply for a subsidy of up to 25 euros for purchasing a bicycle helmet.

Next weekend, on 5 and 6 August, the international triathlon competition IRONMAN Tallinn 2023 will take place, leading to temporary traffic restrictions and changes in traffic in Tallinn and Harjumaa. In Tallinn, the changes mainly affect the Haabersti district. Parking and car traffic will be restricted, and there will be changes to public transport schedules.

The Tallinn Property Department has finalized a contract with Bergland OÜ to introduce independent backup power systems across five key facilities in Tallinn. This initiative will outfit these locations with stationary diesel generators, securing a continuous electricity supply for the city's emergency response centers.

The Tallinn Migration Centre will begin operations at its new location, Endla Street 8. The centre, previously located at Niine Street 2, will be closed on October 1 and 2 due to the move, and starting Thursday, October 3, it will welcome clients at the new address.

Tallinn’s Mahtra Basic School will become the first municipal school in the city to offer a class based on the principles of the Montessori method of education.

This year, the City of Tallinn will install more benches than usual, primarily to improve independent mobility for the elderly. New benches will be added not only to the streets of the city centre and other districts but also to parks and green spaces.
