Tallinn's startup ecosystem has demonstrated remarkable resilience and adaptability in 2024, achieving new revenue records despite challenging economic conditions. According to Startup Estonia, Estonian startups surpassed €2.7 billion in revenue during the first three quarters of 2024, marking a 10% year-over-year growth.
As part of Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day, the City of Tallinn is organizing its annual Tallinn Entrepreneurship Awards to recognize outstanding local entrepreneurs and business developers. Applications are open until September 10.
Starting from 1 October 2025, the structure of the Tallinn Strategic Management Centre’s Business Services Department will be reformed. The existing Business Centre and Consumer Protection Division will be replaced by two new units: the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Department of International Economic Partnerships.
