The public transport of Tallinn will switch over to winter working hours on 1 September, which means that the timetables of many bus routes and all tram and trolleybus routes will change.

The proposed health trail in the Sütiste forest park on the border of Nõmme and Mustamäe will not be built. Further development of the Sütiste forest will be decided by the property's manager, the Estonian Environmental Board.

Next weekend, on September 10 and 11, the Tallinn Marathon will bring more than ten thousand runners from more than forty countries to Tallinn, causing several temporary changes to traffic and public transport in the city.

Tallinn's 2023 budget includes bridge funding through Tallinn Industrial Parks to start construction of the Tallinn Film Wonderland. Tallinn Day will be celebrated for the 21st time on Sunday 15 May, but the first events to mark the city's birthday will take place on Friday 13 May.

Filtri tee in the Kesklinn district will be closed to normal traffic on Sunday and Monday, 8 and 9 May from 9am to 11pm on the section from the Tallinn Central Bus Station to Veskiposti street. Restrictions do not apply to public transport and local residents.

This weekend, Tallinners can get involved in a series of community clean-ups and help make the city cleaner as part of the Let's Do It campaign. Helping hands are welcome in Põhja-Tallinn, Haabersti, Kesklinn, Nõmme and Kristiine districts, and activities take place on Friday and Saturday.

Although bulky waste is covered by the organised waste collection scheme and need to be handed over on a separate agreement with your waste collector, Tallinn residents will again be able to drop off bulky waste free of charge at all waste collection stations in Tallinn for a week (9-15 May) as part of Environment Month.
