Starting from 1 August, several bus line numbers and routes will be changed – the changes will affect lines number 8, 17, 17A, 35, 42, 43, 48, 67 and 68.

The Tallinn Strategic Management Office will conduct a survey in August among night bus users to determine their expectations and preferences regarding the service. The results will aid in better understanding the typical profile of a night bus user, evaluating the outcomes of the pilot project and planning the future use of night buses.

A four-month night bus pilot project in Tallinn will begin on Friday 19 May, and run until 17 September. During this period, four routes will be active at night from Friday to Sunday.

Due to the LHV Women’s Run in Pirita, on Saturday 20 May from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, the locations of bus stops of lines 1, 5, 8, 34 and 38 on Pirita tee in the direction leading out of the city will be changed. The Kose tee section between Pirita tee and Rummu tee will be closed, and the routes of bus lines 5 and 6 will be changed in both directions.

The Tallinn Migration Centre will begin operations at its new location, Endla Street 8. The centre, previously located at Niine Street 2, will be closed on October 1 and 2 due to the move, and starting Thursday, October 3, it will welcome clients at the new address.

Tallinn is developing a modern, people-friendly, and green Main Street along Narva maantee and Pärnu maantee, stretching from the Jõe–Pronksi intersection to Vabaduse väljak. Locals are invited to join a public discussion on 11 June at 17:30 at Nordic Hotel Forum, where the city will present an overview of the feedback received so far.

Tallinn will increase public transport capacity around the Song Festival Grounds during major summer events to improve access and ensure convenient travel to and from concerts and festivals. Night bus services will also run more frequently on weekends with large events.

On Tuesday, May 20, the grand finale of a business idea competition for Ukrainian women living in Estonia took place at the Jaan Poska House. Now in its third year, the initiative aims to support Ukrainian women’s entrepreneurship and increase their visibility and economic activity in Estonia.

On Saturday, May 17, the LHV Maijooks running event will take place, causing partial or full closures of certain streets in the city centre and Pirita district between 12:30 and 15:00. The event will also affect the operation of bus lines no. 1, 5, 6, 8, 34, 38, and 49.

The weekend’s Song and Dance Celebration procession and major concerts at the Song Festival Grounds will bring significant traffic changes to central Tallinn. Several streets will be closed, many bus routes rerouted, and tram traffic will be suspended during the procession.
