As part of the European Capital of Sport programme, an Ice Sports Day will take place on Saturday, March 22, starting at 10:00 at Tondiraba Ice Hall.

Tallinn’s year as the European Capital of Sport in 2025 brings a sports program offering residents the opportunity to explore various sports throughout the year. January is dedicated to skiing, and on January 18, the Song Festival Grounds will host a skiing day, followed by the festive opening of the sports year.

As part of Tallinn Day, the Ghetto Games street sports festival is set to take place on a larger scale than ever before on Saturday, May 18, from 12:00 to 19:00. The festival will be held next to the Estonian Maritime Museum at the Seaplane Harbour/Lennusadam area. Attendees can look forward to an exciting day filled with street sports competitions, entertaining performances, and fun activities for all ages.

Bicycle repair stations have been installed near the entrances of Tallinn’s waste stations, available for use 24/7.

Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart and the President of the International Children’s Games, Igor Topole, today signed a cooperation agreement to host the International Children's Games in Tallinn in August 2025.

This year, Tallinn is set to host and support 95 high-level international sports events, including 16 European Championships and stages of world and European cup competitions. The city will provide a total of 645,000 euros in support for the organization of these international sporting events.

The 25-kilometer ride will follow a route through Rae, Kiili, Saku, and Saue parishes, with a steady, easy pace for riders of all levels.
