Due to rain, today's (August 5) remaining basketball games will be moved to Kalev Sports Hall (Juhkentali 12). Games will resume at 15:00. The schedule is delayed by one hour. Example: if your original game time was 15:00, it will now start at 16:00.
Following a decision made at the ICG Tallinn 2025 beach volleyball technical meeting, the girls’ tournament will include both losers’ pool matches and placement matches for 5th–18th place after the group stage.
As part of preparations for the deployment of new battery trolleybuses in 2026, AS Tallinna Linnatransport is continuing upgrades to the city’s trolleybus infrastructure. On Monday, 11 August, the third stage of medium- and low-voltage cable reconstruction works will begin in Mustamäe, lasting until November.
AS Tallinna Linnatransport (TLT) will build a parallel tram track branch at the airport to allow more frequent tram services and improve operations at the terminal stop. Construction will start on 18 August and finish in December.
From 4 to 7 August, Tallinn will host the 57th International Children’s Games (ICG). Recognised by the International Olympic Committee, the ICG is the world’s largest multi-sport event for 12–15-year-olds, where teams representing cities compete against each other.
The Tallinn City Government has approved the full use of the purchase option under the contract concluded by AS Tallinna Linnatransport, under which 30 additional battery trolleybuses will be acquired next year.
