From 1 October, the City of Tallinn will offer an on-call family doctor service funded by the city. The service will be provided by OÜ Ennetuskliinik.

The first outdoor e-cigarette collection boxes have now been installed in Tammsaare Park and near Kristiine Keskus as part of a pilot project to test how such a system could work in public spaces. The pilot will run until the end of October and will help determine the best way to organize outdoor collection.

Tallinn Mayor Jevgeni Ossinovski met yesterday with Halyna Shymanska, Acting Mayor of Zhytomyr, and Valentyn Arendarchuk, Head of the city's Department of Education. Starting from 1 October 2025, the structure of the Tallinn Strategic Management Centre’s Business Services Department will be reformed. The existing Business Centre and Consumer Protection Division will be replaced by two new units: the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Department of International Economic Partnerships.

Today, 24 September, the Day of National Minorities in Estonia will be celebrated in Tallinn with a series of events introducing the cultures, tastes, and music of various nations as part of the Days of National Cultures programme.

On 25–26 September, the international festival Cities After Dark will take place in Tallinn, bringing together the local community as well as experts and urban developers from across Europe to discuss the challenges and opportunities of nightlife and the night-time economy.

For the week after the school break, from November 1-5, students in grades 4 to 8 in Tallinn municipal schools will be sent to distance learning. Students in grades 1 to 3 and grades 9 to 12, as well as students with special educational needs will continue in contact learning.
