The City Government gives up increasing the salaries of city leaders for another year
The members of the Tallinn City Government decided not to index the salaries of the members of the City Government for the second year in a row, considering the economic impacts of the corona epidemic.
Tallinn aims to become climate neutral by 2050
Today, Tallinn unveiled a Climate Strategy that sets the goal of making the capital climate neutral by 2050. The progressive Tallinn Sustainable Energy and Climate Change Adaptation Plan aims to reduce the urban and economic impact on the climate in a way that enriches the economy and the urban environment. The city is welcoming citizens' feedback on the climate strategy until April 7 at rohepoore@tallinnlv.ee.
Activities of music cities in refugee crisis were discussed at Tallinn Music Week

Tallinn holds nine youth festivals this summer
A total of nine youth festivals will take place across Tallinn during the summer, focusing on extreme sports, street art and dance, and music. The summer of festivals kicks off on 14 May in Männi Park as part of Tallinn Day.
Tallinners can take part in a range of Let's Do It clean-ups
This weekend, Tallinners can get involved in a series of community clean-ups and help make the city cleaner as part of the Let's Do It campaign. Helping hands are welcome in Põhja-Tallinn, Haabersti, Kesklinn, Nõmme and Kristiine districts, and activities take place on Friday and Saturday.
Tallinn has offered school places to 1,540 Ukrainian students
More than 1,540 students from Ukraine have been offered places in Tallinn's municipal schools. Kindergarten places have been offered to nearly 350 applicants, with 110 Ukrainian children already attending kindergarten.
Tallinn collects donations for war refugees at the district governments
In order to better match the donations of helpful citizens of Tallinn with the urgent needs of war refugees from Ukraine, Tallinn is organising a collection of everyday items in the district administrations from Thursday, 10 March.
