By order of the Tallinn City Government, a total of €50,000 will be allocated from the city government's reserve fund to support earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
City Government submitted Tallinn’s consolidated annual financial reports for the year 2022 to the Council for approval – at the end of last year, the consolidation group had a revenue of 89 million euros, total assets of 2.13 billion euros and net assets of 1.66 billion euros.
A new series of outdoor training programmes lasting throughout the summer will begin on Monday, 12 June. The objective of these programmes is to offer young people aged 7-26 a way to spend time doing sporting activities during the summer and to encourage them to exercise regularly. Participation in the summer training is free for young people from Tallinn.

On Monday, 19 June, the youth-oriented summer of festivals will officially begin at Inglirand. Five youth festivals will be taking place throughout the summer.
For the third year in a row, the city of Tallinn is offering children aged 7-10 the opportunity to take part in swimming lessons. The lessons will be taking place in July and August at three city swimming pools and are intended for both beginner as well as intermediate swimmers.
The City of Tallinn project was among the 14 chosen by the European Urban Initiative from a total of 99 applications that will receive a five million euro grant from the Regional Development Fund.
