At today’s meeting, Tallinn Electoral Committee confirmed the voting results of City Council elections.

During the last two weekends of October, residents of Tallinn can once again give away hazardous waste free of charge. On October 23, hazardous waste are collected in Kesklinn and Lasnamäe, on October 24 in Kristiine and Põhja-Tallin, on October 30 in Pirita and Mustamäe, and on October 31 in Haabersti and Nõmme.

During the last two weekends of August - August 21 to 22, and August 27 to 29 - Tallinn will organize vaccination against COVID-19 in schools. Students aged 12-18, their families, but also other residents are expected to get vaccinated. There is no need to pre-register for vaccination in schools.

During the Ironman triathlon and events connected to the competition, several streets will be closed, parking will be limited and there will be changes to public transport services and their timetables on 7-8 August.

As of today, residents in each district have the opportunity to print a certificate of vaccination or COVID recovery free of charge - this can be done in the Tallinn City Office service bureau (Vabaduse väljak 7, 1st floor), in all district government service halls, and in Tallinn Central Library (Estonia pst 8) and all its branch libraries.

At the end of this week, 16-18 July, the most magnificent Estonian sea party will take place in the Old City Harbour cruise area, Patarei sea fortress, Seaplane Harbour and the Noblessner seafront quarter, where artists from Estonia and the rest of the world will provide entertainment on land and at sea. Outdoor cafes, children's areas, a design street are open on the occasion and a sea taxi will provide transport from harbour to harbour.

The President of Romania Klaus Werner Iohannis paid a state visit to Estonia. It is required to wear a mask and follow the 2+2 rule when visiting museums, and there is a 25% occupancy restriction in force in the exhibition halls.

The Tallinn City Government submitted a draft regulation to the City Council, which extends the payment period for the first day of illness by one month, ie until the end of May.

This weekend, Sõle Sports Center and Tondiraba Ice Rink will be opened as vaccination centers for Tallinners aged 65+. Vaccinations can be registered at the digital registry from 31 March and by telephone from 1 April.
