With 2023 being the year of movement, a variety of exercise and sporting activities are taking place at Tallinn Maritime Days. The maritime days sporting activities will be taking place from 14-16 July at the Vanasadam cruise area, Lennusadam, Noblessner harbour campus as well as Pirita.

For the upcoming year, Tallinn's budget allocates nearly 396 million euros for educational operations, representing almost 41% of the total operating costs. The primary focuses include the transition to Estonian-language education, increased investment, and raising the minimum wage for teachers.

The fourth participatory budgeting idea collection initiative in Tallinn has concluded successfully, with 492 ideas submitted, out of which 149 proposals have been selected for public voting. Residents can cast their votes for their favorite proposals starting Monday, November 20, until December 3, 2023.

Tallinn’s 2024 budget in the urban planning and heritage conservation sector focuses on planning new kindergartens, valuing historical urban spaces, and modernizing information systems for more efficient and faster planning processes.
