The Tallinn City Government submitted a draft of the third supplementary budget of 2023 to the city council. According to the draft, the city budget will increase by 46.5 million euros. Should the draft be adopted, the final budget for 2023 will be 1.18 billion euros.
All students up to the age of 19 are eligible to receive financial support from the City of Tallinn in the beginning of the school year. To date, 46,603 applicants have already received the benefit, and a total of 4.4 million euros have been paid out. Applications can be submitted until November 30.
The Tallinnovation competition, which supports smart city solutions, received ten applications this year. The city of Tallinn, along with the Tehnopol Science and Business Park, chose four winners from among the ten applicants.
