Tallinn wants to give diplomats the right to use public transport free of charge
The Tallinn City Government made a proposal to the City Council to give diplomats who reside in the capital the right to use public transport free of charge. The reason for this is that according to the new regulation coming into force on 1 July, the free parking of diplomatic missions’ vehicles in public parking spaces will be reduced.
Tallinn launched a draft to change land tax rates, maintaining the current homestead tax exemption

Tallinn’s waste treatment facilities acceptance points for scrap tyres from spring
In spring, it will be easier for people in the green capital to hand over scrap tyres. They can bring their used car tyres to any of the capital’s waste treatment facilities – Paljassaare, Pärnamäe, Rahumäe and Pääsküla. The Loksa waste treatment facility will also accept scrap tyres from businesses.
