In spring, it will be easier for people in the green capital to hand over scrap tyres. They can bring their used car tyres to any of the capital’s waste treatment facilities – Paljassaare, Pärnamäe, Rahumäe and Pääsküla. The Loksa waste treatment facility will also accept scrap tyres from businesses.

During the Christmas period, Tallinn’s public transport will operate according to the Sunday timetable. On the evening of 31 December, traffic restrictions will be in place in the Freedom Square area due to the New Year’s concert and light show, and several bus routes will be diverted. After midnight, in the early hours of 1 January, the operating hours of a number of routes will be extended to ensure that people celebrating the New Year can return home safely by public transport.

Since opening in mid-November, Tallinn's ice rinks have already welcomed over 20,000 visitors within three weeks. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the winter season at Tallinn's ice rinks – local schools can organize free skating sessions, and seniors have special times set aside for complimentary visits.
