Due to ongoing water and sewer pipeline construction work by Tallinna Vesi and Utilitas on F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street, several bus routes will be redirected starting June 21.
On Wednesday, July 3, construction will begin on Kadaka puiestee to replace the current deteriorating overpass with a new viaduct. This project aims to ensure a safer traffic environment for all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. The construction will result in changes to traffic arrangements and public transport operations.
Starting Tuesday, June 25, water and sewer line construction will begin on Suur-Ameerika Street, resulting in traffic restrictions and changes to public transport routes.
Due to the new phase of the Old City Harbour tramway construction, traffic management will be adjusted around the Linnahall intersection area starting Monday, July 1, and a segment of Rannamäe tee will be temporarily closed to facilitate the construction of a bicycle path.
Due to construction work, the Mere puiestee bus stop will be closed from July 3, and the Vabaduse väljak stops on Kaarli puiestee towards the city centre will be closed from July 8. The project includes the construction of new bike and pedestrian paths, tree planting, and the reconstruction of water and sewer systems.
Due to gutter repairs, the Viru Bus Terminal will be temporarily closed to bus traffic from the beginning of the day on Wednesday, July 10, until the end of the day on July 31. This will affect the routes and stops for bus lines 1, 29, and 40.
Water and sewer line construction at the intersection of Tööstuse, Kopli, and Sitsi streets will interrupt tram line No. 1 from August 12 to August 18. During this period, replacement bus service No. 52 will operate. Bus lines No. 3, 26, 26A, and 73 will also be rerouted from August 12 to August 31.
Starting Monday, August 19, all five tram lines in Tallinn will be back in operation. Tram services had been temporarily disrupted due to the construction of the Old City Harbour tram line and the construction of a grade-separated railway crossing at Tondi.
This Sunday, August 25, asphalting work will take place at the intersection of Paldiski maantee and Toompuiestee, resulting in changes to trolley lines No. 1, 4, and 5 from 15:00 until the end of the day.
