The City of Tallinn has launched an architectural competition to find the best spatial solution for a new swimming centre on Varraku Street in Lasnamäe. The planned facility is a major public space development, aiming to create a top-class swimming complex suitable for international competitions, complemented by a diverse urban environment. The deadline for submitting competition entries is 18 September.

To ensure the smooth organization of the XXVIII Song and XXI Dance Celebration “Iseoma” next week, the City of Tallinn is implementing several temporary changes to traffic and public transportation to ensure safe and convenient movement for participants and guests. Europe’s leading street sports and culture platform “Ghetto Games” invites everyone to experience the most athletic festival of the summer in Estonia’s capital, Tallinn, on July 12–13. For two days, Freedom Square in the city center will be transformed into a vibrant arena for street basketball, street football, dance and fight shows, as well as contests and various activities. The festival is organized in collaboration with the Tallinn City Government and will bring together participants from over 10 countries.
