The autumn school holiday from October 23 to 29 provides students with opportunities for creative self-expression, physical activity, and educational self-improvement.

The Tallinn City Government has submitted a budget proposal for 2024 to the City Council, totaling 1.26 billion euros, marking an increase of 79.5 million euros or 6.7 percent compared to the revised 2023 budget.

From November 1, tram line No. 5 will be reinstated in Tallinn, operating on the Kopli-Vana-Lõuna route. The temporary tram route No. 6, connecting Tondi and Kopli, will end its service. The City Government has approved the detailed planning for properties located in Põhja-Tallinn at Telliskivi Street 62 and 64, at A. Adamson Street 12 in the city centre, along with adjacent properties at Kevade Street 8. Additionally, the detailed planning for properties at Apteegi Street 3, 5, 7, and 9 was initiated.

The temporary tram line No. 6, introduced during the construction of the Old City Harbour tram line, will continue to operate on the Tondi-Kopli route until at least the end of October. Starting on October 1, the rest of the tram traffic will be fully restored. The City is also exploring the option of permanently continuing with tram line No. 6

Tallinn Marathon will draw around 20,000 sports enthusiasts from over 70 countries to the districts of Põhja-Tallinn, Kesklinn, and Haabersti from 8 to 10 September. This will lead to temporary changes in Tallinn's traffic and public transport.

From 7 March, construction works will start for the first phase of the Vanasadama tramline, causing changes in the traffic regulation in the city center. The construction will begin on Gonsiori and Laikmaa streets, which will lead to the closure of Gonsiori street in the direction out of the city center between Laikmaa and Reimani streets and Laikmaa street between Gonsiori and Narva mnt towards Narva mnt.

The construction of the new tram line in Tallinn’s City Centre is stopping the operation of tram lines 2 and 4 from 17 April to 2 July.

On 24 April, the restoration works of public transport stops will begin in Tallinn, during which the asphalt concrete and concrete coverings of bus stops will be renovated, broken curb stones will be replaced and well covers will be fixed up. During the restoration works, 15 bus stops will be repaired.

The summer break starting on Thursday, 15 June, offers children and young people in Tallinn plenty of opportunities for outdoor sports as well as artistic and cultural experiences over the summer.
