A week ago, the official beach season ended at five public beaches in Tallinn, and 38 G4S beach guards, who ensured safety and order during the summer, also finished their work. This year’s season passed calmly and without major problems.

Throughout the year, residents brought a total of 5,592.17 cubic meters of waste to the waste treatment plants, equivalent to approximately 70 truckloads of large waste.

During the free bulky waste disposal week on 21-27 August, seven times more bulky waste was brought to waste stations than on an average August week.
