The new Kadriorg Park orangery at Lydia Koidula 34a, Tallinn, is now open, offering modern workspaces for park employees and suitable growing conditions for exotic plants.

On December 11, Tallinn Mayor Jevgeni Ossinovski hosted a year-end reception for representatives of foreign embassies and international organizations based in Tallinn. This year, the event took place at the newly opened Kadriorg Park Orangery.

The transition of city-owned buildings in Tallinn to local, clean, and efficient district heating has already yielded significant results. Initiated a few years ago, the process has successfully converted the heating systems of several municipal buildings, supporting the city's goal of becoming emission-free and reducing reliance on imported natural gas.

The City of Tallinn has launched a public landscape architecture competition aimed at finding the best spatial design for the Ukraine Garden (Ukraina aed), located in Lembitu Park. The competition site covers the entirety of Lembitu Park, a formerly built-up city center block destroyed during the March bombings of 1944.

A new stormwater filtration solution will be installed in Tondimõisa Park in the Kristiine district to treat stormwater collected from the Tammsaare tee–Pärnu maantee catchment area and reduce local flood risks.

The Tallinn Transport Department is installing eight speed awareness displays across the city to remind drivers of the current speed limits. These emotion cameras display vehicle speeds and provide feedback to drivers, showing whether they are complying with speed restrictions.

Due to the celebration of the Republic of Estonia's 106th anniversary and the Estonian Defense Forces parade rehearsal at Vabaduse väljak, public transportation routes in Tallinn city centre will undergo changes on the evening of Friday, February 23, starting at 6:30 PM and on Saturday, February 24, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

From 1 September, Tallinn, in cooperation with Rae Municipality and Põhja-Eesti Ühistranspordikeskus (North-Estonia Public Transport Centre), will launch bus line No. 47, connecting Ülemiste City and Peetri. Initially, the new line will operate until the end of this year.

On the 2nd of November team members of the international project “GoGreenRoutes” from Tallinn Strategic Management Office met with the educational institutions near the Vormsi park to learn about their expectations and preferences regarding development of this green area.
