This Sunday, 7 May, the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia will again participate in a free of charge Museum Sunday after being closed for the winter season. Due to construction works and various events, the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds Visitor Centre will not take part in the Museum Sundays until August.

Next week, 24-30 April, the spring school break offers children and young people in Tallinn the opportunity to take part in a diverse and exciting range of activities, from nature to exercise and from culture to robotics.

Next week, the youth programme Gutsy Go, which aims to increase youths’ sense of community, will be organised in the Kesklinn district in cooperation with Jakob Westholm Gymnasium and the Freedom School for Ukrainian war refugees.

For the upcoming year, Tallinn's budget allocates nearly 396 million euros for educational operations, representing almost 41% of the total operating costs. The primary focuses include the transition to Estonian-language education, increased investment, and raising the minimum wage for teachers.

Projects aiming to add more greenery to the city and facilities promoting active lifestyles emerged as the winners in Tallinn's 2024 participatory budget vote. One million euros have been set aside in the budget for the realization of these projects.
