On 4 March, Turu-uuringute AS will conduct the EELU2026 mobility study of the residents of Estonia on behalf of the Estonian Transport Administration and the Tallinn Transport Administration. The purpose of the study is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the daily travel patterns of people and, based on the data collected, to support the planning, development, and policymaking of mobility solutions. This includes further development of the national mobility model, which takes into account different modes of transport – walking, cycling, car use, and public transport.

With the reopening of Hobujaama and Laikmaa streets to public transport on October 21, all temporary bus route diversions caused by the construction of the Old City Harbour tram line will come to an end.

In preparation for the XXVIII Song and XXI Dance Celebration 'Iseoma', the city is implementing several changes to traffic and public transport arrangements to guarantee a safe and convenient experience for all participants.

Starting 1 June, Tallinn public transport will switch to its summer schedule, resulting in changes to timetables. In addition, several updates will be made to the public transport route network, as well as to stop names and locations.

This October, the county bus layover area at Balti jaam station will be closed. As a result, the final stops for many county lines in Tallinn will be relocated, with buses instead terminating at Vabaduse väljak, Viru väljak, and Teatri väljak.

On Saturday, May 17, the LHV Maijooks running event will take place, causing partial or full closures of certain streets in the city centre and Pirita district between 12:30 and 15:00. The event will also affect the operation of bus lines no. 1, 5, 6, 8, 34, 38, and 49.
