Youth festivals offer eventful summer for capital’s youth
On Monday, 19 June, the youth-oriented summer of festivals will officially begin at Inglirand. Five youth festivals will be taking place throughout the summer.
Free Christmas tree collection available across Tallinn
Tallinn will once again open Christmas tree collection points across the city this year, where residents can dispose of natural Christmas trees free of charge after the holidays. The opening times of the collection points vary by district – in some districts the points are already open, while in others they will open shortly.

This week, the Sail Training International confirmed the new dates and six host ports of the international sailing regatta The Tall Ships Races 2024, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year.

Think Pink Europe and NGO Elu Nimel awarded the City of Tallinn as the first city in Estonia with the Pink City certificate. The Tallinn City Government has completed this year’s statistical yearbook "Tallinn in Figures" that offers an overview of the development of different areas of the city in the recent years. The population of Tallinn has grown for more than 20 years in a row, already reaching above 445,600.
Tallinn students to be vaccinated in schools at the end of August
During the last two weekends of August - August 21 to 22, and August 27 to 29 - Tallinn will organize vaccination against COVID-19 in schools. Students aged 12-18, their families, but also other residents are expected to get vaccinated. There is no need to pre-register for vaccination in schools.

Tallinn residents interested in the development of their hometown are welcome to test the planned updates of the Tallinn Planning Register website and provide feedback to them in the test environment until August 24.
The design procurement for a section of Pollinator Highway received two tenders
Two tenders were submitted for the Tallinn public procurement to find a designer for the Pollinator Highway linear park on the section between Ristiku Street and Kolde Boulevard.
