On Monday, 19 June, the youth-oriented summer of festivals will officially begin at Inglirand. Five youth festivals will be taking place throughout the summer.

The UNESCO City of Music, Tallinn, celebrates Estonia's Day of Restoration of Independence with an open-air concert on the Square of 20 August in Harjumäe Park. The concert will take place on Sunday, 20 August at 14:00 and with no entry fee.

The LED posts at Freedom Square have been illuminated with the colors of the Israeli flag to express support for the people of Israel and condemn the terrorist attacks targeting innocent civilians.

Tallinn will once again open Christmas tree collection points across the city this year, where residents can dispose of natural Christmas trees free of charge after the holidays. The opening times of the collection points vary by district – in some districts the points are already open, while in others they will open shortly.

Due to construction works, the Tõnismäe stop on Kaarli puiestee and the Freedom Square blue-coloured bus stop in the centre of Tallinn will be temporarily closed.

Starting Monday, January 15, the route of bus line No. 35 will change in the city centre on Narva maantee and Pronksi Street.

During the free bulky waste disposal week on 21-27 August, seven times more bulky waste was brought to waste stations than on an average August week.

The city and culture festival, Culture Night, fills Tallinn with music, art, film, workshops, discussions and walks on 25 August.

Due to the next stage in pipeline construction works and the reconstruction of the Sõpruse puiestee and Tihase tänav intersection, Sõpruse puiestee will be partially closed to traffic within the construction zones from 22-28 August.

Next week, from 21-27 August, people residing in Tallinn according to the population register can drop off bulky waste, such as unusable furniture, bicycles and baby prams, at the city's waste transfer stations for free.
