From 17–19 February, Lviv hosted an international meeting for European municipalities, attended on behalf of Tallinn by Deputy Mayor for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Kristjan Järvan. During the visit, Tallinn and Lviv signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a framework for cooperation in civil protection, crisis preparedness and the development of community resilience.
Tallinn Social and Health Care Department suspended the international design procurement of Tallinn Hospital announced a week ago in order to exclude the risk of possible conflict of interest in the project team. A new procurement will be announced as soon as possible.
The city of Tallinn, in cooperation with a private health care provider, is preparing to launch a mobile vaccination brigade in November to enable people to get vaccinated at home. A stationary counselling, vaccination and testing point will also be established on Freedom Square.
For the week after the school break, from November 1-5, students in grades 4 to 8 in Tallinn municipal schools will be sent to distance learning. Students in grades 1 to 3 and grades 9 to 12, as well as students with special educational needs will continue in contact learning.

The photo contest "Year-Round in Tallinn 2021" is held every year to find interesting photos that would capture the events taking place in the city and the change of the cityscape in different seasons. Cristo Pihlamäe's photo "Reflection" turned out to be this year’s winning work.

The call for proposals for the Tallinn's second participatory budget 2022 was a success - the people of Tallinn submitted a total of 389 ideas for promoting city life. The largest number of proposals was submitted for developing the urban environment.
