Today, on September 2, Tallinn’s partner city Odesa celebrates its City Day, which is linked to the city’s official founding in 1794. The date is marked with festive events, concerts, and cultural programs.

From 2 September, paid public parking in Tallinn will be operated by OÜ EuroPark Estonia, replacing AS Ühisteenused. The change of service provider is technical and does not affect the principles or pricing of parking.

Due to the weather conditions on 23 August, the Ironman Tallinn team has announced that the competitions will be delayed by three hours. This change also affects the previously published public transport detour times.

The City of Tallinn has cancelled the bicycle shelter procurement initiated by the Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department, as all bids significantly exceeded the expected cost. The department has been tasked with launching a new tender that incorporates expert recommendations and ensures a reasonable price. Today, 6 December, a new landmark was officially opened in Jaan Poska Street in Kadriorg, Tallinn – the oldest concrete electric pole in Estonia, which was renovated in cooperation between the power company Elektrilevi and the City of Tallinn, installed in a new location and now also equipped with an information board.
