This year marks 777 years since Tallinn was granted Lübeck city rights. The Tallinn Day celebrations held to mark the occasion will conclude on Friday, 16 May at 20:00, when Ines and the British electronic music band Morcheeba will give a free concert on Freedom Square.

This year marks the 777th anniversary of the day Tallinn received Lübeck city rights. This important historical milestone will be celebrated for the 24th time with Tallinn Day, taking place from 12–18 May. A full week of events and activities awaits all residents and visitors.

The 18th Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day took place on Tuesday 28 September and included more than 40 events dedicated to participants ranging from brand new entrepreneurs to senior executives. In total, 2000 people attended the seminars in person and online. This year’s Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day was a hybrid event – selected seminars were streamed online, but the main programme took place in person. August 20 marks the 30th anniversary of the Restoration of Independence of the Republic of Estonia. The anniversary events in Tallinn will start today at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds (Lauluväljak), where a new visitor centre is opened. The month of May is dedicated to biodiversity in Tallinn’s urban environment and from 20 to 27 May, Tallinn Green Week with three international theme days will take place. Admirers of nature are welcome to take part in nature walks, bird singing evenings, open bee days and many other events.

Already for seventh year the leading organisations such as TalTech, Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITL), Estonian Electronics Industries Association, Enterprise Estonia (EAS) and numerous flagship technology companies join forces to promote the opportunities emerging from Industry 4.0 framework.

People who care about the environment and biodiversity are welcome to think along and have a say at Tallinn's first climate picnic this Saturday, July 24 from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm in the Pikakari beach area.
