Tallinn to host the world’s largest sports event for children
From 4–7 August, Tallinn will host the 57th International Children’s Games (ICG) – the world’s largest multi-sport event for 12–15-year-olds, officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee. The competition brings together city delegations from across the globe.
The Mayor of Tallinn met the FIFA President
On October 1st, the Mayor of Tallinn Mihhail Kõlvart met with FIFA President Gianni Infantino who was on his visit to Tallinn. At the meeting in the Town Hall, they discussed the co-operation relations between the City of Tallinn and the Estonian Football Association, and the development of football infrastructure in Tallinn.
Tallinn Mayor hosted the International Ice Hockey Association
Today, 12 November, the Mayor of Tallinn Mihhail Kõlvart hosted the new President of the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF, Luc Tardif, Vice-President Petr Brizat and Vice-President of the European Region Henrik Bach-Nielsen, to discuss the promotion of ice sports in Estonia.
