The international sail training organization Sail Training International has confirmed the host ports for the 2028 Tall Ships Races regatta. One of the selected ports is Tallinn.

On Saturday and Sunday, 4-5 September, Tallinn celebrates the beginning of the Green Mobility Month and holds an event “Green Journey in the Heart of the City”, which will take place on Estonia puiestee and Tammsaare Park to raise awareness about green mobility and encourage sustainable means of transport.

On Tuesday, 13 June, Dr Bruno Marques, President of the International Federation of Landscape Architects, will be visiting Tallinn to meet with Deputy Mayor Madle Lippus and give a public lecture on the topic “Landscapes and landscape architects in a changing world”.

Tallinn Deputy Mayor Tiit Terik participated in a digital assembly of mayors as part of the world cities summit held in Brussels. The LED posts at Freedom Square have been illuminated with the colors of the Israeli flag to express support for the people of Israel and condemn the terrorist attacks targeting innocent civilians.

The speed limits will be lowered on Tallinn's streets to ensure safer traffic. The maximum speed allowed will be 30 km/h on a number of inner district roads and 40 km/h on some of the larger streets in the city centre.
