Royal Air Force airshow displayed above Tallinn Bay on Victory Day
On the Estonian Victory Day, June 23, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic team Red Arrows will display a spectacular airshow over Tallinn Bay. On the morning of the same day, the Red Arrows will fly over the Victory Day parade in Paide, in which the soldiers of the eFP NATO battlegroup will also take part. The equipment of the battlegroup can be seen up close on Victory Day in both Paide and Tallinn.
Slacklines installed in schoolyards
As part of a charity campaign that took place throughout September, 75 schools across Estonia, including 8 Tallinn schools, received slacklines to promote physical activity among students.
More than 53,000 flowers are planted in the city space
The capital will burst into bloom for its birthday as by Tallinn Day, tens of thousands of permanent and summer flowers will be planted in the public urban space. One more school stadium in Tallinn open for public this summer
At the beginning of the summer, Tallinn opened fourteen school stadiums and sports grounds for public use, at least one in each district. From Friday 15 July, the Mustjõe Secondary School stadium in Haabersti district, located at Paldiski mnt 83, will be added to the list. In addition, four sports fields managed by the Tallinn Culture and Sports Department are open for public.
Tallinn the start and finish of Electric Marathon
On 28 August at 9.00, fifteen teams will set off from the centre of Tallinn for the electric vehicle marathon round Estonia, on the route Tallinn-Pärnu-Tartu-Tallinn.
