In October, Tallinn accepts hazardous waste free of charge
During the last two weekends of October, residents of Tallinn can once again give away hazardous waste free of charge. On October 23, hazardous waste are collected in Kesklinn and Lasnamäe, on October 24 in Kristiine and Põhja-Tallin, on October 30 in Pirita and Mustamäe, and on October 31 in Haabersti and Nõmme.
The outdoor pool of Lake Harku is ready for swimmers

Part of Paldiski Road to be closed due Tallinn Open Triathlon on Sunday
Due to the Tallinn Open Triathlon that will be held in the vicinity of Lake Harku, the section of Paldiski Road from the shore of Lake Harku (Paldiski Road 124a) up to the city limit will be closed on Sunday, 24 July from 9.30 am to 5.50 pm. Tallinn wants the 2023 budget to alleviate economic uncertainty for residents
The Tallinn City Government has submitted to the City Council a 2023 city budget with a total amount of 1.14 billion euros, which is 66.5 million or 6.2% more than the 2022 budget. The focus of next year’s budget will be on social security, with most of the investment going into roads, streets and education.
The Advent candle will be lit on the Town Hall Christmas tree on Sunday
Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart and minister Jaan Tammsalu will light the first Advent candle on Sunday, 27 November at 4pm on the Christmas tree in Town Hall Square.
