Tallinn City Government approves detailed plan for comprehensive and modern development of Pirita beach
Today at its session, the Tallinn City Government presented the Tallinn City Council with a detailed plan for the beach area in the Pirita district, aimed at developing and shaping this area into a flagship beach for the city.

City of Tallinn recognised by ETEL for the Pirita and Pikakari beaches for disabled persons
Yesterday, on 4 May, the general meeting of the Estonian Security Companies Association (ETEL) took place in the environmental education centre of Tallinn Zoo, where the best of the year in the security market were recognised as well. Beaches for disabled persons that were created under the leadership of the city of Tallinn were recognised as worthy of the title "Deed of the Year 2022".
Participatory budget voting open until midnight on December 3
Tallinn's 2024 participatory budgeting vote continues for four more days, with the deadline for casting votes being midnight on Sunday, December 3. As of today, approximately 5,430 Tallinn residents have already voted for their favorite projects.

Projects aiming to add more greenery to the city and facilities promoting active lifestyles emerged as the winners in Tallinn's 2024 participatory budget vote. One million euros have been set aside in the budget for the realization of these projects.
City to open 18 school stadiums for public use
Starting next Monday, 14 June, and lasting until the end of August, 18 school stadiums will be open to the public in Tallinn for sports.
Free legal advice available in English
Since March, Tallinn has offered free legal advice to residents in every district. The last consultation days for this year will be held on Thursday, October 26 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Tallinna Kesklinna Sotsiaalkeskus (Social Center in Kesklinn) and on Tuesday, November 14 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Pirita District Administration.
The beach season passed in Tallinn without major problems
A week ago, the official beach season ended at five public beaches in Tallinn, and 38 G4S beach guards, who ensured safety and order during the summer, also finished their work. This year’s season passed calmly and without major problems.
