Tallinn to support hosting the European Basketball Championship
According to a draft resolution of the Tallinn City Council, an agreement of good intentions between the City of Tallinn and the Estonian Basketball Association will be approved to host a group stage of the 2029 European Basketball Championship.
Pelguranna tram line moves into design phase
The City of Tallinn is taking the next step in building a new tram line – preparations for the construction of the Pelguranna tram line are moving into the design phase. The new line will serve the neighborhoods of Pelguranna, Sitsi, Pelgulinn, Karjamaa, and Kalamaja, providing fast and convenient connections to the city center. It will also improve mobility options for pedestrians and cyclists.
Voting for Tallinn’s 2025 participatory budget now open
From today until 22 September, all Tallinn residents aged 14 and older can cast their votes for up to three of their favorite ideas to be implemented in their district.
Tallinn signs contract with companies to design new hospital building
Today, the SA Tallinna Haigla Arendus signed a contract with the joint bidders Osaühing Sirkel ja Mall and INDUSTRIA PROJECT Sp. z o.o. to start preparing the main design project for the future Tallinn Hospital medical campus.
New bus line connects Ülemiste City and Peetri
From 1 September, Tallinn, in cooperation with Rae Municipality and Põhja-Eesti Ühistranspordikeskus (North-Estonia Public Transport Centre), will launch bus line No. 47, connecting Ülemiste City and Peetri. Initially, the new line will operate until the end of this year.
