The Tallinn - European Capital of Sport figure skating gala held at Tondiraba Ice Hall on 22 March delivered a show full of magic.

Tallinn – European Capital of Sport 2025 will host a figure skating gala on Saturday, 22 March at 15:00 at Tondiraba Ice Hall, featuring European Champion Niina Petrõkina.

As part of the European Capital of Sport programme, an Ice Sports Day will take place on Saturday, March 22, starting at 10:00 at Tondiraba Ice Hall.

The development project of the year, collaborative project of the year, start-up of the year, tourism deed of the year, job creator of the year, future solution and eco-innovation awards were announced at the Tallinn Business Awards gala held at the Song Festival Grounds on 30 September. Awards were also presented for the best applied research projects.

The board of the Design Federation has confirmed that Tallinn has been chosen as the city that will welcome the European Design Festival in June 2022.

Tallinn is participating with a joint stand of Estonian enterprises at the world's leading real estate market event, MIPIM 2022, in Cannes, France, from 15-18 March.

The birthday events will begin on 14 May, when Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas and Tallinn Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart will open the Short Leg Gate.
