The Tallinn Electoral Committee will accept applications for candidacy in the City Council and district councils from 20 August to 9 September.

Caused by a major water leakage on the corner of Mere puiestee and Ahtri street, the traffic of tram line No. 1 is currently stopped and the tram line No. 2 is temporarily running on a free schedule on the route Vana-Lõuna – Suur Paala. A replacement bus line is running between Kopli and Hobujaama tram stops.

On the order of the Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department, the construction of a pedestrian and cycling path, linking the Lasnamäe cycle route to the city centre, started on 28 June. In the first stage, a section of the road will be created from Tondiraba Park to Vana-Kuuli street. The contractual deadline for the cycling path is November 2022.

The City of Tallinn has signed a contract for the construction of the Tiigriorg (Tiger Valley) exhibition in Tallinn Zoo with the joint contractor ATEMO OÜ/EG Ehitus AS. The works will start in the second half of July, after the end of the timber harvest halt due to breeding season.

Tallinn City Government and the Tallinn Urban Planning Department have put out for public consultation four preliminary plans for the Old Harbour area, which are open for comments until 12 January. Due to Vanasadama tramway construction, the northern section of Ahtri Street between Paadi and Laeva streets will be closed to traffic from 10:00 on Tuesday, 9 May. The traffic changes will affect the routes of bus lines 20, 20A, 34 and 66.

Due to the construction works on Vana-Kalamaja Street at the crossroads of Tööstuse and Soo streets, there is a temporary change in the route of bus line 3 on the way out of the city, i.e. in the direction of Randla from 8 May to 21 May.
