As part of a charity campaign that took place throughout September, 75 schools across Estonia, including 8 Tallinn schools, received slacklines to promote physical activity among students.
On Sunday, August 29, at 12 noon, Tondiraba Park will be opened in Tallinn - a one of a kind green and recreation area on 29 hectares that creates space for both people and nature.
Over the past two years, a comprehensive environmental education program has been conducted in Tallinn’s kindergartens and schools, teaching children to reduce waste and reuse items. The program involved 125 kindergartens and 55 schools, and activities were also held at public events, engaging approximately 31,300 children in total.
The City of Tallinn recognized the athletes and their coaches from Tallinn who competed in the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games during a formal reception held at the Town Hall.
